This painting is my interpretation of my favorite Bible verse, Matthew 10:16: “Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.” I’ve always had a deep love for animals and nature, and this verse speaks to me in such a powerful way.
